1. The software

Bloomery is free and open-source software, licensed under the Apache License 2.0. You may use, modify and redistribute it under the terms of that license. These terms cover the use of the application and this website; where they conflict with the license, the license governs.

2. Your account and your responsibility

• You sign in with a Microsoft account that you own and that holds a valid Minecraft: Java Edition licence. Bloomery does not provide game accounts or game content.
• Your use of Microsoft, Xbox Live and Minecraft services is governed by Microsoft's and Mojang's own terms, not by these.
• Bloomery is not a tool for bypassing authentication or licence checks, and must not be used to share, resell or lend accounts.
• Accounts that keep working without re-authentication rely on tokens stored on your own machine. Keep that machine and its configuration directory private.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not redistribute Bloomery in a form that adds malware, unwanted advertising or telemetry.
• Do not present modified builds as the official project, or imply that the project endorses your distribution.
• Do not use the project's name or logo in a way that suggests it is an official Minecraft product.

4. No warranty

Bloomery is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Installing and launching game versions, mod loaders and mods can modify files in your game folder; keep backups of anything you care about.

5. Limitation of liability

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the software or the use of the software. This mirrors section 7 of the Apache License 2.0.

6. Not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft

Bloomery is an independent, community project. It is not an official Minecraft product, is not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft, and is not endorsed by them. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Microsoft, Xbox Live and Microsoft Entra are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.

7. Changes

These terms are versioned with the source code in the Bloomery repository; the date at the top changes when they do.
